Abstract EN

The Current Study aimed at comparing others-orieatation in its three dimensions - moving twards people , moving against people , and run from people according to contradictory -belisfs of Iraqe state officals of both genders.

To achieve the study aims the researcher developed others - orientation scale which cosists of (30) items in its final form , and has developed contradictory - beliefs test of officals that consists of (27) situations in its final form after computing their psychometric characteristics.

By using a sample consists of (400) male and femal officals , the study results indicated that individuals have a mealium degree of others - orientation in all dimensions.

There were no significant differences between males and females in others - orientation .

The results have indicated also that sample individuals have high degree of contradictory - beliefs , and there were significant difference between males and females in favour of males.

In comparing the group that attained the highest degrees of contradictory - beliefs test to group that attained lowest degrees on the same test.

When comparing them in others orientation dimensions , it appears that the difference between the two groups in moving against people was significant and in favour of the upper group , wheras there were no significant differmce between two groups in running from prople dimmtion and in moving toward people dimontion .

In the light of these results the researcher presented aset of recommendations and suggestions for future studies.
