Abstract EN

This study aimed to determine the requirements for activating the partnership among Saudi Universities in the field of voluntary work and identifying its role in achieving the Saudi Vision 2030.

The study was based on the social survey method by utilizing a questionnaire applied on a random sample of 62 faculty members from Colleges of Social Sciences, Media and Communication, and Shari’a at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh.

The results of the study confirmed that the potential gains from the enhancement of the partnership among the Saudi universities in the field of voluntary work are require the following: Firstly, the need to build partnerships between universities and the voluntary sector in order to develop students’ skills to assume social responsibility, secondly, activating strategies of administrative networking among universities in the field of voluntary work, and thirdly, continuing the mutual beneficially-based relationship among Saudi universities.
