English Abstract

The phenomenon of research and studies centers is one of the new phenomena in the liberated areas.

There is a first impression and acceptance of the axiom of knowledge of the concept of think tanks and studies.

But we discover the gelatinousness of the concept if we try to define what it is.

It is loose and contains multiple details and dimensions, resulting from the difference in its origin and its tasks.

In the past few years, various research and study centers have sprung up in the areas controlled by the Syrian opposition, which specialize in many fields and fields, and participate in the production and manufacture of knowledge and ideas.

But a quick look at the map of research centers in the region is enough to suggest to us that the status of these centers is fragile, compared to what is found in other countries.
