Death is one of the most mysterious phenomena that man has ever been able to decipher, and this mysterious realm always challenges the human soul and throws deep sorrow and fear into his life.

In this way, only those who have lofty and sacred ideals are not afraid of it and happily welcome it and consider it not destructive but a return tour.

In this study, we intend to examine the effects of death in the poems of Abdul Wahab Bayati and Sohrab Sepehri and to answer these questions: 1- What is the view of Abdolvahab Bayati and Sohrab Sepehri about death? 2- What is the manifestation of thanatophilia in the poems of two poets? In short, what stands out in the poetry of the two poets is a mystical view of life in an unstable life based on great mystics such as Rumi and Ibn Arabi, as a result of which the two poets ignore death and they consider it not the end of life and nothingness, but the flight from the earth to a pure world.
