Poetry and music have a strong and inseparable connection that is acknowledged by the general public of culture and art, especially the people of literature and music.

Because poetry is in fact the music of words and phrases, and richness, the music of songs and melodies, is therefore one of the important issues that have long been considered by literary critics and analysts in the study of poets' poetry .

Ibn Haddad Al-Andalus, one of the prominent poets of the Andalusian period who was able to be the poet of Mutasim Ibn Samadeh in his time, like many other poets, was not unaware of the important aspect of music and was able to inspire better concepts by composing his poetic atmosphere.

To study and analyze his poetic structure, this article relies on the descriptiveanalytical method to study the music of poetry at the levels of external, lateral and internal (verbal) music.

In this regard, first he defines music, then the types of music are examined and analyzed by bringing a sample of verses from his divan.

Among the achievements of this research, we can mention the musical atmosphere of his poems and the appropriate selection and place of any kind of musical elements such as sea, rhyme and repetition.
