A semantic look at the text and the semantic analysis of its words, it is one of the ways to achieve the minutes of meaning and understand the main purpose of the speaker.

This type of view is particularly present in a religious text such as Nahj al- Balaghah, due to its importance and role in ensuring the eternal happiness of a person, as it becomes doubly important Through semantics, it is possible to analyze the meaning of words and sentences in the text and get the exact position of the words and their groups according to the semantic system in which they are found.

This article deals with the semantic analysis of the word Dunya according to the short words of Nahj al-Balaghah in the poems of Nasir Khusraw and Sharif al-Radi.

The semantic analysis of this word using the descriptive-analytical method shows that poets directly and in most cases indirectly, they used the short wisdom and sayings of Imam Ali (pbuh) in their poems this is while the poetic expression of Nasir Khusraw in his poems, taken from the words of Nahj al-Balaghah, is more artistic and influential than Sharif Al-Razi.
