Abstract EN

This study aims to provide a detailed view of the analysis of the dimensions and limitations of the Orientalist vision in the field of lexical studies.

This knowledge is the prestige of the Arabic language, its global identity, and the mirror of its civilization.

The importance of the study lies in the fact that it contributes to enriching readers knowledge on a very important topic.

In order to leave it with important scientific implications needed by the researcher, and to see the other’s view of our language, its pros and cons, the Arab and Western library included multiple lexical works that had different goals that must be evoked, not only monitoring and follow-up, but also the dates of dictionaries, the context of their emergence and the most famous method.

The total academic literature that was relied upon as the primary references for citation in this research study approached (60) references.

Scientific books included refereed research articles, theses, university theses, and specialized electronic sites.
