Abstract EN

The concern of the Islamic faith of any defect is very important.

To elaborate on the aforementioned statement, this research aimed to identify the impact of indulgence in the subject of self-management and its development through several hypotheses such as dependence on Allah, seeking his support and believing in destiny.

The study focuses also on the temporary mortal success, a person’s belief that he creates his behavior and his notion that man but not Allah brings success.

The study used questionnaire to measure this issues and concluded that: self-development in the right direction is required and desirable but needs moderation but not extremism.

Over-extremism may affect a person’s faith particularly with allegations existent in it and his knowledge of the Islamic belief.

Whatever is proved true in the concept of self-development has basis in Islamic belief.

Therefore, the study recommended equipping the youth with Islamic belief.

Such knowledge should be taken from authentic Islamic sources.

Therefore, human development professionals have to pay greater efforts in refining their sources of knowledge.

Scholars, thinkers and scientists have to extract selfdevelopment knowledge from Quran and Sunnah and spread it in an easy, concise and attractive way
