Abstract EN

The study aimed to suggest a conception for the Evaluation of the performance of the faculty members at Qassim University from their point of view in the light of the experiences of some local and international universities.

The sample of the study consisted of 56 members of the faculty of Education, Qassim University in the second semester of the academic year 1437/1438 AH, The researcher studied the experiences of some local and international universities in evaluating the performance of the faculty member.

In order to make a proposal of the mechanisms to the evaluation process from the point of view of the faculty members, the researcher constructed a questionnaire consisting of 41 item distributed in five areas: (Ethical aspects and personal traits, teaching performance, research activities and professional development, administrative activities, community service).

The veracity of the questionnaire was verified by means of internal consistency.
