Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the reality of using Arabic language teachers to the active learning strategies in teaching primary school students in Tabuk, the researcher adopted the descriptive methodology, To achieve the objective of the study, The researcher prepared a questionnaire divided into 3 fields: foundations of using active learning strategies, the obstacles of using active learning strategies, and the procedures of using active learning strategies, The study confined at the following strategies: Brainstorming, conceptual mps and think-pair-share.

after confirming the validity and reliably of the questionnaire, the sample of the study consisted of (228) teachers and (23) supervisors, after applying the questionnaire, the following statistical procedures was applied: Frequencies, percentage, Man-U test, Scheffe- test and one way anova.

The results of the study shows: • The foundations of using active learning are Highly available, Beside some obstacles that hinder the using of active learning strategies.

• The degree of using active learning strategies is High.

• There were statistically significant differences on the fields of the study, These differences attributed to the career level, Academic degree, years of experience and the number of training courses in the field of active learning In light of these findings, the researcher has proposed some recommendation as follow: • Promoting teachers to use active learning strategies in teaching Arabic languages • Paying attention to the required training needs related to using use active learning strategies.
