Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify a program based on interactive digital story in the development of reading comprehension among primary school students in Kuwait.

The study was based on a semi-experimental approach.

The experiment was designed using two groups: the first experimental (25) students from a primary school were trained to develop reading comprehension through a program based on the interactive digital story; the second was an officer (25) on the proposed program.

The difference between the two groups is due to the independent variable, the interactive digital story-based program.

A proposed educational program based on the interactive digital story was developed to develop reading comprehension and reading motivation among primary school students.

The reading comprehension test was prepared.

After applying the proposed program to the experimental group and applying the study tools to both groups before and after the experiment, the study found that there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group before and after the application of the program in favor of the post-reading comprehension.

The study also found that there are statistically significant differences between the experimental and control group average scores for the experimental group.

This is due to the positive effect of the proposed program based on the interactive digital story in developing reading comprehension among primary students.
