Abstract EN

This study focuses on the importance of environmental issues in international relations.

These issues have been raised in international relations since their emergence as global issues during the 1960s and 1970s.

In this context, this lead to the emergence of so-called green politics which is conducted by the cosmopolitanian environmental parties and green social movements aiming to protect the nature and environment.

In addition to these facts, international relations field witnessed an academic debates between the theorists about the importance of the ecological issues especially in the fourth theoretical debate between the so-called Rationalists and normative approaches.
