Summary: There is a very strong trend in the mediathat tries to make one of the purposes ofSharia an attempt to consolidate thevalues of citizenship a goal of the individualin society, leading to erasing culturaldifferences between members of societyand ending with the obliteration of subidentitiesand the melting of the so-calledmelting pot of citizenship.

Among the terms that have become commonin our Islamic arena are the terms ofcitizenship and extremism, which sometry to generalize in an attempt to globalizethe idea and frame it in a sacredframework, leading to the adoption of alaw that introduces any religious, sectarianor ethnic tendency, and the like.

Sharia came to the interests of the servantsboth in the immediate and future, and its costs are due to the preservationof its objectives in creation, so the idea ofcitizenship emerged on equality in rightsand duties for every member of societywithout preference for one individualover another under any religious, racial, intellectual, behavioral or societal justifi«cation, Its aim is mainly to curb religiousfanaticism among the followers of differentreligions in the same society.

EstablishingSharia is to bring interests andward off corruption.

The idea of citizenshipis based on equality in rights and dutiesfor every member of the communitywithout preference for one individualover another under any religious, racial orjustification.

The purposes of the Sharia do not contradictthe jizya and the principle of citizenship, because every citizen has rights andduties, and if the term inherits sensitivity, then it is okay to replace it with what preservesthe dignity of human beings.
