There are indications showing the companions'understanding of this type of interpretation.

Among the most important of theseis what Al-Bukhari mentioned in the story ofIbn Abbas with Omar bin Al-Khattab aboutthe interpretation of God Almighty's saying: (If Nasrallah and Al-Fath come), then aninspiring indication of a new understandingthat is only critical of God's jurisprudence.

Some scholars have devoted interpretationsrelated to this type of indicative interpretationand made it mostly confined to it, while others of the interpreters wrote his interpretationin accordance with the apparentmeaning of the verse, then mentioned someaspects that include the indicative interpretation, then the first (the interpretation ofAl-Qushairi) and the second (the interpretationof Al-Alusi).
