الارتباط و تحليل المسار لتقدير بعض مؤشرات الانتخاب لحاصل الحبوب في الذرة البيضاء (Sorghum Bicolor L.)‎

Abstract EN

Factorial experiment had been done according to the Randomized Complete Block Design RCBD with three replications two factore while four varieties of sorghum (Kafir, AlKhair, Rabeh, Enkath) were planted at two sites Aleslih city to south east of Al Naseriah city, Galat city to north of Al Naseriah city during 2015 under irrigated system, and were treated with three levels of nitrogen (80, 100, 120)kg/hectare, in order to measure the correlation and divide them to direct and indirect effects between grain yield and traits(Plant height, Stem diameter, Dry fodder weigh, Green fodder weigh, leaf area index, grain number per plant, thousand grain weight) and to determine their contribution in grain yield.

Results showed that grain yield had a positive significant correlation with al studied traits except thousand grain weight equaled (0.763**, 0.725**, 0.712**) with plant height dry and green fodder weigh respectively, and the direct effect on grain yield was high and positive for each of plant height green fodder weigh0.5153and 0.3597, and the indirect effects for each of dry and green fodder weigh on grain yield via plant height were also high and positive (0.3875, 0.3597)respectively.

and plant height as direct effect contributed in Grain Yield with a percentage of 26.554% , then the corporate effect between plant height and green fodder weigh 24.364% and the direct effect of green fodder weigh 12.936% , which lead to the possibility of using them as selection criteria for improvement of Grain yield.
