Abstract EN

The study dealt with the efficiency of the spatial distribution of health services in Al-Muthanna Governorate.

It dealt with the analysis of the current spatial distribution of health services in the governorate and their efficiency, suitability and population needs by comparing them to the planning standards of these services globally and Iraq to determine the efficiency or disability by using GIS technique.

This study focused on identifying the shortfalls and the development of immediate and future solutions by presenting a proposal that includes a better spatial distribution that suits the needs of the population.

The results of the study will help the competent authorities and the villagers.

The study was based on the use of the questionnaire questionnaire in measuring the indicators of the efficiency of health institutions.

The 1516 questionnaire was distributed as a random sample to the auditors of the health institutions, and one of the main conclusions of the study is to estimate the future population size of 2027, which will reach (1313288) people and this increase requires work to increase health institutions and medical staff in accordance with size
