Abstract EN

Once the fifth of the Prophet Muhammad's household fell as a martyr in the battle of Karbala, incandescent flashes began to flow in the minds and hearts of poets, rhyming in pain and lamentations about every large or small details of those who were killed wrongfully.

Those poets muttered, shouted, and preached about the martyrdom of the son of Prophet's daughter, so it's not unusual that this tragedy to take the souls and pens of every author by storm, including the famous poet "Abu al-Mahasen al-Karbalai", who reminisced the injustice made upon Imam Hussein and family and companions with some of his long-lived poems.

The study was divided into four chapters, the first one was concerned about the words that were repeated in Al-Karbalai's poetry, while the second chapter was about studying the rhythm and its elements.

The third chapter dealt with the artistic image in his poems, as for the fourth chapter, it focused on a conclusion about all the results made in the previous chapters.
