When we try to write about the phenomenon of the Holy Arbaeen in order to provide a description or explanation for some of the forms and content of this Islamic and human phenomenon, the language will simply declare its inability to break into such a dangerous subject.

The reason behind that inability is that the mentioned phenomenon is above the mechanisms of description and disclosure, and its levels are deeper than the possibilities of graphic diving and linguistic embodiment.

Therefore, we will do what we can through this modest research to provide what can be captured of various meanings and signs embodied in the Arbaeen pilgrimage such as thought, doctrine, and human sacrifice.

, which are far more wanted than the material entities, as the Arbaeen became more for the living than to bid farewell, and this idea exactly, is can be applied on the pilgrimage practiced by millions of lovers of Ahl al-Bayt.

This research is divided into an introduction, conclusion, and two chapters, the first chapter is dealing with concept of pilgrimage in language and terminology, while the second one includes the dialogue of international civilizations in the Arbaeen by acquaintance and convergence through the long walk to Karbala, or by loyalty and love to Ah- al-Bayt.
