Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the reality of differences in the family environment and the social / moral dimensions of the Arbaeen pilgrimage from the prospective of college girls, and to learn about the relationship between the family environment and the social / moral dimensions of the Arbaeen pilgrimage from the prospective of those students.

The researcher dealt in her theoretical studies, with the concept of the family environment, the concept of social and moral dimensions, and a historical profile of the Arbaeen walk to the holy shrine of Imam Hussein "pbuh", in addition to a demonstration to several narrations about the necessity of walking toward the holy shrine of Imam Hussein by men and women alike.

The researcher used the descriptive comparative method as the most appropriate method to achieve the research objectives and hypotheses.

The research team consists of students from the College of Physical Education and Sports Science for Girls / Baghdad University, with a total number of (387) students from the four classes, divided by 97 students from the first class, 150 students from the second class, 91 students from the third class, (49) students from the fourth class, which they were all chosen in a random stratified way.

(100) students were chosen for the sample of social / moral dimensions questionnaire, while another (10) students were chosen for the exploratory experiment, and ) the remaining (277 ) students were chosen for the main application of the family environment measurement and the questionnaire of social / moral dimensions.

The researcher used the family environment scale prepared by Moss (1974), and due to the ence of a questionnaire of the social / moral dimensions according to the researcher's knowledge, it was required to make such questionnaire by the researcher, which she has done according to the necessary steps
