The annual mourning rituals held by Shiites in Iraq and abroad on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) are of great importance and reverence on the religious، political، social and psychological levels، which emphasizes the role played by these rituals in unifying their ranks as a single group.
