Abstract EN

This research aims to divide the inheritance according to the Islamic inheritance rules by mathematical equations.

The cases of inheritance in Islamic jurisprudence are divided into four types.

In the first type, the estate is ended by shares and nothing remains for the 'Asabi (the male agnate) who takes over the remainder without considerations.

In the second type, a share remains for the 'Aasib, or he inherits everything when alone, and for all these problems we use the linear function.

As for the third type of cases, the shares of heirs increase because of their fewer number.

In the fourth type, the shares of heirs decrease because of their large number, and for that we use the geometric progression.

It is concluded that linear functions, geometric progressions, ratios and proportions are one equation that gives us a unified law that cancels the rooting cases and share defragmentation as important results of the research.
