تعد موقعة كوفادونجا من أشهر المعارك التي دارت رحاها بين المسلمين و المسيحيين في شبه الجزيرة الأيبيرية مع بداية الفتح الإسلامي للمنطقة و لا تعود شهرة هذه الموقعة إلى نتائجها العسكرية فقط بل لما حققته من مكاسب هامة خاصة في الجانب المعنوي لصالح حركة المقاومة المسيحية ضد المسلمين في الأندلس و التي انتهت بزوال الحكم الإسلامي في المنطقة و عودتها لحاضرة الديانة المسيحية على المدى البعيد مع نهاية القرن الخامس عشر الميلادي.
Abstract EN
The Covadonga battle is considered one of the most famous battles that took place between Muslims and Christians in the Iberian Peninsula with the beginning of the Islamic conquest of the region.
Which ended with the demise of Islamic rule in the region and its return to the presence of Christianity in the long run at the end of the fifteenth century AD.
