Capitalism and Social ChangeA Marxian Vision of Mohamad el-Bosati's Novel entitled "Hunger"Mohamad el-Bosati's literature deals with the crushed, the marginalized and the poor.

He describes the lives of those people who suffer from marginalization and ignoring.

His novels re-build their realities in society of the fictional text.

The researcher chooses his novel entitled "Hunger" which is considered one of his most important novels that deal with the lives of the marginalized and the crushed.

This is a critical study aiming at revealing the ideology, which supports the novel according to the Marxian theory of knowledge especially that the writer adopts the Marxian view as a pivotal idea in its intellectual and aesthetic structure.

The study dealt with a number of topics, most important are: the historical context, consumption and the processes of changing the body into a commodity, the building of capitalist elites, and the capitalist inheritor.

The study aims at revealing the role played by the contemporary creative writer in dealing with the social, economic and social realities of the nation.

He participates in criticizing these changes with the aim of reformation towards a real awakening.

The creative ideological writer seems to have the duty of dealing with the negative phenomena in life, to enable the reader to react with the his social and cultural surrounding.

The researcher adopts the historical method in dealing with intellectual and cultural structure of the narrative text, and the extent of its reaction to the reality of his society.

The conclusion came to highlight the role of the creative writer who holds a certain ideology in spreading knowledge, and in sharing the reader in creating a positive attitude with the narrative text together with the ongoing social changes
