The WAQF sector is at present a key figure in the development equation in the modern economies of countries.

Today, it is invited and requested to restore its civilization role in the life and economy of the nation in order to secure the social welfare of individuals and to consolidate the links of solidarity and Symbiosis between them through its characteristics, its flexibility and its ability to adapt to every law, social system or economic approach.

Rather, it is the main pillar for supporting the solidarity social economy as it is the oldest system that enabled humanity to face the power and impotence of the state on the one hand and the disintegration of society and the exacerbation of its crises on the other hand.

In this research paper, we will try to answer a problem centered around the mechanisms needed to activate the role of this sector and direct it towards establishing the features of a solidarity social economy by focusing on the humanitarian and charitable dimension, defining the features of the relationship between endowment and sustainable development, defining its position in the sectoral classification of modern economies, and then presenting it as a basic supportive pillar.

For the solidarity social economy by employing its resources or the option of partnership between it and the rest of the components, to enhance the mechanisms of social solidarity, health care and confront poverty and unemployment.
