Abstract EN

This study aims to use the goal programming appraoch to plan the fitted agricultural lands use for the optimal production of a group of crops, in Algeria, by using the total suitable agricultural lands, available natural resources, and aspiration levels for the production of various crops, in order to answer the extent of the planning contribution and the application of goal programming approach in the agriculture development, which helps decision-makers to underline development strategies.

According to the priorities of achieving the stated goals, so to achieve sustainable agricultural development.

To achieve food security by 2030 horizon, it is imperative that decision-makers expand the agricultural lands use or increase their productive capacity, use irrigation techniques and encourage the entry of workers into this sector.
