This study aims to focus on one of the indicators of city sustainability, which is sustainable transportation and clarify how sustainable transport can be translated from theory to practice, by standing on the concept Sustainable cities and sustainable transportation that works to enhance the sustainability of these cities and contribute to global development, and the study concluded that the city of Masdar in Abu Dhabi is considered the first attempt in the Middle East to build a sustainable city, when the Masdar City initiative was launched to be the first city free of emission Carbon data in the world, which is characterized by a comprehensive plan for the transportation system free of emissions.
