Abstract EN

Through our research, we aim to demonstrate that the negatives of the institutional environment in Algeria discourage the motives of the enterprise, as we considered that the most prominent of these negatives revolve around the rentier, protectionist and populist nature of the Algerian economy.

The institutional environment (the rentier nature of the economy, the populist social nature of economic dealings and the nature of the protective state) does not influence the motives of the entrepreneur.
