Abstract EN

: The We addressed the issue of research on the modernist thought problematic with Arab intellectuals and prominent contemporaries “Mohammed Abed Jabiri”, we wanted to highlight a citizen advancement contemporary Arab thought in the thought of Jabiri to progress and modernity.

So we tackled a collection of chapters, we focused initially on rooting of Western modernist thought and its aspects so that we can later talk about Arabic modernist thought, and then we talk about the position of political and philosophical thought of Jabiri, thus Based on irrational aspects in contemporary criticism, we thought the adoption of rationality, and we put the question of globalization and contemporary ethics, beside his position on Arab heritage, that he reread the Arab heritage modern reading.

We concluded that Jabiri tried to build an Arabic modernist thought from criticizing contemporary thought, By duplication between Western thought and the Arab thought, where he worked on the primacy of Western contemporary thought on European regional and cultural side.
