In the late are, a new trend has been evolved by Kasper and Langer to settle the dispute between the proponents of the analytic propensity and the traditional trends- that is the representational trend through using symbols to express various facets in the arena of thinking such as logic, language, art, religion and myth.

It is viewed that Kasper has paid much attention toward ''symbol'' as it has a significant role in disclosing the secrets of the man.

The study has shown that Langer has been largely influenced by representation figures which have been established by Kasper.

Langer seems to be greatly agrees with Kasper, thereby the human being is a representational animal.

Additionally, the representational function of human being is the outstanding characteristic through which the whole repercussions seem to evolve from.

Moreover, it is displayed that Langer has considered music as the top in the ranking of this school.

This is owing to the representational language inherent in the art of music.
