"the custodian of the holy Alowy shrine" is the subject of this research which includes two topics.

the first one deals with the rise of the custodian duty via the city history which is connected custodian duty With the history of the holy shrine of I mam Al.

(p.u.h.), with the construction of the holy shrine in brief.

The second topic is entitled (the most important families that undertook custodian duty).

Custodian is just like the guardian of the holy shine at the present time.

The research exhibits the custadion role which went beyond the holy shrine's limits to cover the whole city especially during the period of Al-Malloy.

this role was stong, at some times, and weak at other times following the central authority.
