Abstract EN

This research aimed to clarify the relationship between forgiveness, self –awareness and psychological security among university students and identifying the differences in forgiveness, self –awareness and psychological security that are attributed to the variables of ageand gender on a sample of 250 students at the Faculty of Education, Helwan University, the forgiveness-scale ,self-awareness and psychological security were applied .The results revealed a positive correlative relation between forgiveness ,self-awareness and psychological security.

The results also showed statistically significant differences between males and females in forgiveness where females were more forgiveness .There were also differences in self – awareness where males were more in private self - awarenesswhile females were more aware of others.

Females were alsomore emotionally secure.
