تعد دراسة النشاط الصناعي للسكان واثره في التنمية الاقتصادية من المواضيع المهمة والمرتبطة بمجموعة من المتغيرات الطبيعية و البشرية فمن خلالها يمكن الكشف عن الصورة الحقيقية لتوزيع السكان والصناعة مكانيا في المحافظة .تهدف الدراسة الى تحليل العلاقة بين السكان والصناعة وخاصة السكان العاملين في الصناعة وايجاد السبل المناسبة من تحقيق التنمية الصناعية في المحافظة، ومعرفة الواقع الصناعي في محافظة النجف من حيث مجموعة من المتغرات كاعداد المنشأت الصناعية ومواقعها المكانية واعداد العمال فيها سواء كانوا ماهرين او غير ماهرين ورأس المال والقيمة المضافة وتكاليف واجور العمال وغيرها من المتغيرات الاخرى .اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي من خلال استخدام الاساليب الكمية الاحصائية من اجل التوصل الى اكثر العوامل تأثيرا على السكان والصناعات في المحافظة .توصلت الدراسة الى ان توزيع السكان في محافظة النجف غير مثالي ولا يتسم بالتكافئ مع المساحة والصناعات المتوافرة و التي تمتلكها المحافظة ، اذ يميل السكان إلى التركز في بعض الوحدات الادارية دون غيرها، كما تبين ان الطبيعة الطوبوغرافية التي تتميز بها محافظة النجف تعد احد اهم محددات توزع السكان في المحافظة بسبب كبر مساحة الصحراء الغربية للمحافظة وقلة الخدمات فيها جعل السكان يتركزون في مناطق محدودة من المحافظة .
English Abstract
The study of industrial activity and its impact on economic development is one of the important topics associated with a set of natural and human variables, through which it is possible to reveal the true picture of the population distribution and industry spatially in the governorate.
The study aims to analyze the relationship between population and industry, especially the population working in the industry, to find appropriate ways to achieve industrial development in the province, and to know the industrial reality in Najaf governorate in terms of a set of variables such as the number of industrial establishments and their spatial locations and the number of workers in them, whether they are skilled or unskilled, and capital And value added, costs and wages of workers and other variables.
The study relied on the descriptive and analytical approach through the use of statistical quantitative methods in order to reach the most influential factors on the population and industries in the province.
The study found that the population distribution in Najaf is not ideal and is not equivalent to the area and the available industries that the governorate owns, as the population tends to concentrate in some administrative units and not others, and it was found that the topographical nature that characterizes Najaf is one of the most important determinants of the distribution Population in the Governorate Due to the large area of the western desert of the governorate and the lack of services in it, the population is concentrated in limited areas of the governorate
