Abstract EN

Financial inclusion has become of great importance in addressing the Algerian economic reality, due to its impact on the standard of living and reducing social disparities that aim to achieve social justice.

The theoretical side of the research paper addressed the definition of financial inclusion and its characteristics; it also highlighted its most important principles and tools, to get to detail the requirements for its success.

The empirical side presented the most important steps taken by some Arab countries, to achieve its spread and expansion, in order to benefit from their experiences.

The study found that financial inclusion needs many factors that drive it to succeed, and that it should be based on a clear, accurate and comprehensive strategy, not just slogans and politically driven ideas, or just a reality that must be accepted.
