Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to present the concept of "Effect size" as a statistical method to supplement the testing of statistical hypotheses.

The study included an analysis to demonstrate that the effect size is less affected by the size of the sample than the other statistical methods used to test the statistical hypotheses.

The focus of this research paper is on the study of the effect of sample size on the probability value on which the decision is made not reject the null hypothesis or accept it.

400 words have randomly been created using Pass v16 software program.

Random samples of different sizes have been used, and the researcher has concluded that the sample size affecting the probability value, where at the same level of differences between the two averages the differences are not statistically significant at the size of the small samples while the same differences are statistically significant when the size of the sample is large.
