Algerian society, like other world societies, has experienced changes in various fields as a result of its movements and dynamics, theses change affected the family lifestyle in values and customs, and its form from its nuclear extend.

The West has influenced the mentalities, ideas and beliefs of our Muslim society and also its language and its system of life due to several reasons like technological development, and blind imitation of the West without taking into account customs or religion, that led to the emergence of a new social phenomenon that spread in Algerian society in a striking way, which is “mixed marriage” (a Muslim woman marries a non-Muslim man), which expanded with the arrival of foreign companies and the advent of the policy of openness, and the invasion of Western culture made many changes in the marriage method of choice, and this is due to several social and economic reasons including difficult living conditions, the high rate of spinsterhood, the housing crisis and poverty, for all these circumstances the Muslim girl was forced to resort to this type of marriage to put an end to problems away from her religion and moral values.
