Algerian cities have known many problems, especially in metropolitan cities.

That is why the Algerian legislator intervened to set up a legal framework through which to regulate everything related to metropolitan cities.

Therefore, this research aims to determine the stature of Algerian metropolises in the interest of public authorities by embodying various legal tools, which allow their management and the organization of their field.
