The purpose of this article is to understand and analyze the reality of European energy security and the role of Algerian gas in security European energy supplies, particularly during crises and conflicts leading to the cessation of energy supplies, especially natural gas seen that the dependence of the countries of the European Union almost entirely on Russian gas as the first supplier to Europe, which required Europe to define a strategy based on diversifying its energy sources and guaranteeing its security based on Algerian gas.

Algeria has geopolitical data and basic facilities that make it the main candidate in financing the European market with natural gas.

This is what we will try to study focusing on Algeria's capabilities in natural gas fileld and its contribution to the achievement of European energy security.
