Since the end of the cold war, the world has known the acceleration of arrangements and their attraction to the regional and agglomeration current, amid growing interest in establishing these clusters in new systems.

As a result, the States of the Maghreb are unable to complete their path towards the integration and unification of the new regional current through the establishment of a free trade zone and the establishment of a common Moroccan market, as has been the case with all the experience before them, so that they can thus impose their presence in the international community and compete with other economic blocs.

The reality of the Moroccan experience reflects a tragic and frustrating landscape for the States and peoples of the region.

Despite the availability and existence of an arsenal of appropriate possibilities at all levels, which reflect the unique characteristics of a successful conglomerate, the States of the Maghreb are unable to move towards the desired dream of horizontal integration.
