After Cheikh Bouamama lived for over twenty years while on the back of his horse, sometimes wrestling and moving from place to place, he here reached the age of seventy, and here is the disease which gnaws at his body tired by the long suffering and alienation of his homeland and the migration from one place to another.

It only remains for him to look for a safe place and think about his tired family and his supporters for a stable situation in which they lead a normal life like the rest of the people, after failing to achieve their goal of defeating the 'usurpation.

He was visited - in this case - by a French officer and a doctor, and each of them wrote a report on this visit and what they saw and what they encountered from Cheikh Bouamama.

As for the French doctor, he also wrote a medical report on the state of health of the sheikh, which he described as dangerous, after examining him and experiencing the type of illness he complains about.

He also described the sheikh's condition as he moved between his tent and the guest tent in which the doctor was staying.
