This research paper addresses the issue of the relationship between the environment and development by trying to understand and analyze the issue of the environment and its effects on the path of sustainable development.

In order to contain the issue within an alternative vision for development, the study started from an attempt to research the appropriate strategy at the level of national policy - the national project for development - and at the level of global environmental policy, and concluded that there is a need for a shift on the global level to a new development pattern that takes into account the economic, social and environmental dimensions And it supports the local policy efforts of the state by adopting an economic strategy that includes ecologically reconfiguring society.
