The study aims to identify the nature of smart green sukuk and their use of blockchain technology, so the most important concepts related to blockchain technology and smart contracts were addressed, in addition to working to highlight the developmental role of trading smart green sukuk.

It was concluded that the green smart sukuk is nothing but a financial tool that is used by blockchain technology, allowing to reduce costs and profit time while simplifying its operations and facilitating regulatory control over them.
