This article aims to clarify the importance of using financial engineering products as an important means in solving some of the problems that the financial theory has addressed, mainly related to how to find solutions to various problems related to financing and investing in financial markets and how to hedge against various financial risks.

The results of the study showed that despite the importance of financial engineering in managing and hedging financial risks, its misuse was one of the reasons for the emergence of the global financial crisis in 2008, which made another process appear in order to correct some of the previous imbalances, as it was known to restore Financial engineering, and the study also found that the Sadfa Fund, which is active in trading options contracts, has achieved an acceptable leadership that contributed to the development of the Kuwait Stock Exchange, which is a positive experience that can be followed by various Arab financial markets.
