Al Salam Bank applies the advisory opinions of the Fatwa Commission, and the Islamic standards issued by the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) regarding documentary credit in particular standard 14 on documentary credits and standard 8 for Murabaha.

Al Salam Bank in Its compliance with these standards, it is inconsistent with Usurious banks that deal with interest rates In providing services.

On the contrary, it is compatible with these banks in its application of legal texts that is related to the transaction of documentary credit services, as well as the regulations issued by the Central Bank.

It is also subject to the supervision of this bank and the control of the Monetary and Loan Board.
