Abstract EN

The paper focuses on important aspects of the ICC which include the promotion of international business, promotion of best trade practices, use of ICT in business, fighting corruption, and provision of an enabling environment for business for all stakeholders.

The research concludes that the ICC is the heartbeat of international business in offering a fair platform for international trade.

It simplifies the intricate process involved in cross-border trade for the private sector and protects small and medium enterprises from the possibilities of exploitation and unfair business practices by large multinationals.

The research was conducted through a review of literature on the ICC, which includes ICC statutes, Conventions, Articles, and Case laws.
