Al-Sayyid ‛Ali Ben Bālayl Al Dawraqī Al Musha‛sha‛ī Al Mūsawī, the Ahwāzī poet (Deceased in 1102 Hijri), is a famous literary scientist, who has numerous written releases that depict his proficiency in language, rhetoric and poetry.

One of these releases is his collection of poems named “Qalāid Al ghīd” which is a combination of poems of the “‛Irfanī” style, this collection also contains several chapters of poems written in iraqi style, which is a style that has been created by the Musha‛sha‛ī poet Abū Ma‛tūq Al- Ḥuwayzī (both these poets lived under the Musha‛sha‛ī regime which encouraged literacy and their particular style to grow and prosper).

This research analyses a particular poetry style that prospered in the 11th century, “Al-Band Al-Arabi style”.

We will be analyzing this type of poetry on a stylistic level, basing our analysis and judgment on the poetry collections released by Al-Sayyid ‛Ali Ben Bālayl Al Dawraqī, which are around 153 collection (Researchers consider these collections to be of a high-end quality and to be one of the best poetry collections ever released in that particular style, which made some researchers mistakenly think that Al-Sayyid ‛Ali Ben Bālayl Al Dawraqī to be the creator of the style).

In this research, we have detected several unique aspects in using this style, such as the poet’s usage of several terms, how he focuses on his terminology to perfect his poems, and even making sure all of his poetry collections finish with the same letter “A”.

After this research, we came to conclusion that the poet was successful in using linguistic, graphical and artistic means in all of their aspects.

This creates a special reading experience for the readers and the poets that came after him.

The poet’s unique writing style made several poets follow his path and write more in his particular style, which made it more popular through the years
