Our research examines an African figure who played a major role in the course of the political events of the Republic of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah, who led the national movement and contributed to shaping the political, social and economic life of Ghana.

He was involved in the struggle against the British occupation since 1949Through the establishment of the Popular Congress Party, and his prominent role in leading the party to win the parliamentary elections in 1951, became the first Prime Minister of Ghana in 1952, also won the parliamentary elections of 1954 and 1956, and was able to achieve independence on 6 March 1957, His internal policy after independence was the control of his party for power and the fight against the vulnerable parties.
