Abstract EN

Time is considered an effective factor in the literary text for it has a role to reveal the idea of the poet of the universe and people.

We chose the retrieval in Abi Firas Ahamadani's poetry for his poetry is full of retrievals which was used to enrich literary text.

This research deal with studying the technique of time ( retrieval ) in Abi Firas's poetry.

We concentrated in our study on the retrievals.

we mentioned in our study on the emotional retrieval toward hislovers ,Saif al Dawla and the most important moments of his previous life.
