Arabic Abstract

تتناول هذه الدراسة تأثير موقع العاصمة على قوة العراق الجيبولتيكية ، بهدف تحليل عناصر الموقع وتأثيره على القوة الجيوبولتيكية لمدينة بغداد التي تمثل عاصمة العراق ، التي استمرت عاصمة للدولة مدة طويلة ولازالت ، والكشف عن مستقبلها في ضوء خصائص الموقع ، لما للعاصمة من أهمية سياسية على المستوى المحلي ، والإقليمي ، والدولي ، ومن بين أبرز نتائج الدراسة هو أن موقع العاصمة يؤدي دورً كبيراً في التأثير على قوة الدولة ، وأن لمدينة بغداد بما تمتلكه من ميزات وموقع مثالي سيؤدي إلى استمراها عاصمة للعراق ، وإنﱟ التفكير بإيجاد موقع بديل للعاصمة العراقية ليس بالأمر السهل في ظل الوضع الراهن ، ولكن قد تفقد العاصمة مكانها وتأثيرها الجيوبولتيكي اذا ما تفاقمت مشاكلها ، ويمكن اختيار موقع بديل يلبي المتطلبات المحلية بأن يكون في موقع مركزي قدر الإمكان مع مراعاة الخصائص الطبيعية والبشرية والتأثير السياسي مع احتفاظ مدينة بغداد بإرثها الحضاري .

English Abstract

This study deals with the impact of the location of the capital on the geopolitical strength of Iraq, with the aim of analyzing the elements of the site and its impact on the geopolitical power of the city of Baghdad, which represents the capital of Iraq, which has been the capital of the state for a long time and still, and revealing its future in light of the characteristics of the site, given the political importance of the capital at the local level.

Among the most prominent results of the study is that the location of the capital plays a major role in influencing the power of the state, and that the city of Baghdad, with its advantages and an ideal location, will lead to its continuation as the capital of Iraq.

The current situation, but the capital may lose its place and its geopolitical influence if its problems worsen, and an alternative location that meets local requirements can be chosen to be in a central location as much as possible, taking into account the natural and human characteristics and political influence, while the city of Baghdad retains its cultural heritage.
