This article attempts to reveal the aesthetics of opposition in a novel that has generated much polemic after its release in French in 2013, it is the novel "Meursault Contre-Enquete" by the Algerian novelist "Kamal Daoud" in which he opposed the novel al-Gharib (the strange opposition1942) by albert Camus.

on this basis, we will try to answer the following problems : how did "Kamal Daoud" treat in his text albert Camus' novel "the stranger" as a previous text ? what are the mechanisms of textual relevance in his novel? what textual levels did the opposition include in the novel "the stranger"? what are the aesthetics/poetry of this opposition and its functions in the new text? what is "David's" vision of his novel ?
