Each discourse author has an aim to achieve; this aim is considered as a mean to influence the receiver, either through attracting his/her thought by what the author conveys or by modifying, or changing at least their behavior, the poetwho has a call, having an artistic creativity, aspires to attract the listener through poems by the beauty of style and well-drafting; for these two are such a bridge to cross over the intellectual and spiritual receiver's worlds.

this paper looks forward to unveil the convincing dimension and the mechanisms that formulate it in the poetic discourse, we shall take “the green time divan of Abu el Qacem Saad Allah” as model in order to explore its characteristics through argumentative mechanisms illustrating arguments that his poems included.
